Questions

FAQ

How does the PL season work?

You play for your local partner club. Each tier starts with a group stage at your club (3 points for a win, 1 for a loss, 0 for a forfeit). The leading teams in each group (top two or top four, depending on the division) go into the club knockouts, and the Club Champion represents the club against rival clubs over a First Leg and a Second Leg. The winners meet on Grand Final Day.

What does entry cost?

Entry is priced per player by tier: Bronze $199, Silver $209, Gold $219 and Platinum $219. There are no extra court fees for scheduled competition matches.

Am I guaranteed games?

Yes. Every team is guaranteed at least three group matches at its club. Teams that qualify play on into the knockouts.

What are the skill tiers?

Bronze, Silver and Gold are open for registration and matched to playing level, and each starts inside your partner club. Platinum is PL's elite representative tier.

How does Platinum work?

Each partner club nominates one team of two players for Platinum. Platinum teams go straight into the city-wide inter-club competition. It is not open for public registration.

Can I reschedule a match?

PL sets the date, time and court for every match. If your team can't make a scheduled time, your captain should contact PL as early as possible. A team that doesn't play a scheduled match forfeits it, and a forfeit earns no points.

When does registration close?

Where is Grand Final Day held?

At PL's shared neutral Grand Final venue, on Sunday 29 November 2026.
